Spiderman 3

Spiderman 3 was no different from the previous Spiderman movies except to my surprise it lacked trill and was predictable. Just like Spiderman 1 and 2, Mary Jane is kidnapped AGAIN and is the obvious bait. The only interesting and new is the 'bad' side of Spidey...he appears better looking. His overall bad guy look is a total change. About one of the villian, Venom, every time i see him, i can't help but think of the funny and nerdy character of Topher Grace (Eddie) from 'That 70's Show' but he has the cunning side too. So the character did work for him. A sad moment in that movie was when Harry (James Franco) died...he should be alive. A refreshing new face definately is Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard). She's the daughter of the ever so famous, Ron Howard, a former actor turned Oscar-winning director.
This third movie of the Spiderman trilogy could be better but i must say it was entertaining.

The Notebook (2004)

One night around 11pm, the house was in silence again after the kids were asleep, i thought i must watch the movie 'The Notebook' before i put it off for i don't know how long more..as i have so many other movies which is in my 'pending list' to view. It is my cousin's DVD. She lent it to my aunt but unfortunately my aunt can't play it in her player. So my aunt lend it to me. Fortunately, i could play it in my player.
If you believe in love at first sight, this is how it would happen...I found the lead actor, Ryan Gosling acted so brilliantly. The actress, Rachel McAdams is 4 years his senior but there was this incredible chemistry between the both of them and you can feel it. It wasn't a surprise to me when i read that they are actually a couple now after starring in the movie. They won awards for Best Kiss and Best Choice Movie Chemistry.
It was really interesting and i was already 'in' the movie. There were 2 scenes from the movie that made me cry. There was about another 10 minutes left of the movie and the dvd stalled. Tried to rewind and play it again, didn't work, eject it and cleaned it, still did not play! So had no choice but to rent it from the online dvd rental which i'm currently subscribe to. Waited for a couple of days and watched the end of the show. Didn't end the way i wanted but it was alright.
The older couple in the movie was played by James Garner and Gena Rowlands.
Directed by Nick Cassavetes (Ms Rowlands's son) from an adaptation, by Jeremy Leven and Jan Sardi, of a novel by Nicholas Sparks.

Fanaa

Fanaa (2006) means destroyed in Urdu.
Amir Khan and Kajol's first movie together and they created a magical bond. Kajol looks great! Much better than when she was single. This is my favourite movie for this year. Have to give credits to the scriptwritter (pic) Shibani Bathija. She is so lucky and talented! Fanaa is her FIRST script! She is 37 years old has also co-scripted Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna with Karan Johar. She did her bachelors in America and Masters at San Francisco State University in Film and Television. Find out more about Shibani and how did Fanaa come about in The Rediff.com Interview. The songs in this movie are great, my favourite songs are Chand Sifarish and Mere Haath Mein.
